Please follow the below steps in order to install presets in Lightroom mobile.

PS: you can click on an image to zoom-in.

First, you need to download DNG file from online. I am taking my website reference. If you download free DNG file then you would see below screenshot. Click on free lightroom preset DNG file.

    .

Second, the file is downloaded on your mobile. The below screenshot could vary according to your mobile device. Now you need to extract the DNG file.

    .

Third, click on the 3 dot button on the right side of the “DNG file” now it will ask you two options, you should choose “Extract files to” to extract files.

    .

Fourth, select the location where you wish to extract files. I am choosing a picture or gallery location.

    .

In the fourth step, a few people might face problems especially people who are using iPhones.

Extracting Zip files varies according to each mobile. It is not necessary that your mobile also has the same steps as similar to these “extract zip files screenshots”.

If you can’t see the zip file after clicking download then you need to install “FREE extract zip file app” on your mobile in order to see zip files.

Also, remember, if you’re extracting zip files in mobile then you could see DNG files only.

If you want to see XMP and lrtemplate files then extract zip files on the desktop.

    .

I’ve especially written this article because I keep on getting messages from some of the people who don’t know how to extract zip files on mobile.

Many mobiles have pre-install settings to extract zip files like my mobile has it.

But people who are carrying iPhones. I keep on getting complaints from them that they can’t see zip files.

    .

Fifth, Your “press pack” file is extracted.

    .

From sixth step you would learn how to install preset in mobile

Sixth, now open your Lightroom mobile app. Now click on “import image icon” as shown in the screenshot to import DNG file.

Note: DNG files would only work with the Adobe Lightroom app.

    .

    Seventh, select the DNG file.

    .

Eight, now it is imported into Lightroom mobile app as you can see “1” under “All Photos” folder. Click on this.

    .

Ninth, click on imported DNG file.

    .

Tenth, now check if it has edited settings or not. Go to Light tab and check. Make sure it is DNG file.

    .

Eleventh, after checking go to 3 dots icon on the right top side of an image and choose copy settings.

    .

Twelfth, this is how your settings would get copied. Do not touch below tick mark icon. Those tick-mark means that “Light Tab” settings would get copied as well.

    .

Thirteen, below image preset setting is copied.

    .

Fourteen, now you have to open that image where you wish to paste the above preset settings.

    .

Fifteen, for example: I’ve taken the similar color tone reference image below.

    .

Sixteen, this message means that you have imported the reference image.

    .

Seventeen, now select that imported image.

    .

Eighteen, now click on 3 dots icon on the right top side of the screen. Below dialogue box would appear, now click on “Paste Settings”.

    .

Ninteen, BOOM, your Lightroom preset DNG file’s settings has been copied and this is the result.

    .

This is how you would install presets in the Lightroom mobile. Yes, you won’t get the leisure of saving preset like you do in Lightroom Desktop. You can only copy and pasting the settings on one image at a time.
